While leading the design of Playtomic's club management SaaS, we significantly improved both the UI and UX boosting adoption, conversion, and expanding the product's reach across diverse global markets.
Once perceived as slow and unreliable, Slovakia's national postal service underwent a transformation. Through user-first design, we shifted public perception and created a faster, modern digital ecosystem.
The GotCourts redesign sparked the company's turnaround driving B2B and B2C growth. As a small team, with me as the sole designer, we turned the company profitable and attracted acquisition by a market leader.
The mobile banking app we designed for the Slovak branch later became the core app for Erste Group, used across 7 countries. Even the main 14-year-old design concepts still live on. Good design doesn't age.

Enhanced Playtomic's club management software with Point of Sales
Driven by a business goal to close functionality gaps left by competitors, this was a great opportunity to design a new feature from scratch.
Outcome ↗ Beyond the immediate use cases, the feature delivered strategic value and opened the door to new revenue streams.
Simplify the experience of sending parcels with Slovenská pošta mobile app
The original process of sending a parcel at the post office was slow and a major source of friction, often discouraging users and pushing them toward alternative providers. We set out to design a user-first experience that covered the entire journey, from packaging a parcel to its delivery.
Outcome ↗ Sending parcels via the mobile app now accounts for an average of 56,000 packages per month, representing around 31% of all shipments.
Improved UI, UX, and implementation efficiency with Playtomic Design System
Playtomic Manager lacked unified interface components, which led to inconsistency and slow development cycle. One of my first priorities was to introduce the idea of a proper Design System and gain buy-in from leadership.
I worked in close collaboration with frontend engineers to design the components and oversaw their implementation.
Outcome ↗ With progressive implementation of the new components we improved both UI and UX. As a result of using new components, development cost dropped significantly and the quality of the product improved. We gradually kept improving and maintaining the system.
Activated tennis players after lockdowns with a distributed tennis league competition
During the pandemic lockdowns, racket sports clubs were among the hardest-hit businesses. We introduced the GotCourts League to re-engage Swiss players and boost court occupancy across the country.
Outcome ↗ The launch was a success, attracting over 1,000 players in its first season and culminating in a final tournament held at a tennis stadium in Bern. Since then, the GotCourts League has become an annual event and a key part of the product ecosystem.
Transformed UX for Slovenská pošta's digital products with a Design System
Slovenská pošta faced fragmented user experiences across its digital products, with inconsistent UI patterns and broken user flows.
We created a modular Design System that unified visual language, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards across teams and platforms.
Outcome ↘ While the Design System brought consistency, adoption by external suppliers varied. Some implementations didn’t follow the defined patterns, revealing the need for better alignment and stronger governance within the company.
Turnaround GotCourts users satisfaction with redesigned mobile app
When I joined GotCourts, the mobile apps were struggling with poor ratings and user frustration. By analyzing usage analytics and user interviews, we identified key usability issues and outdated flows.
I led a full redesign focused on streamlined navigation, refined user flows, and faster court bookings. The result was a cleaner, more intuitive experience.
Outcome ↗ App Store ratings rose, support tickets dropped, and users praised new UX. The redesign helped rebuild confidence in the product and laid the foundation for future growth.
End-to-end product design for a writing and publishing macOS app
At a time when every writing app was a markdown editor, we took a different path with Author, and created native WYSIWYG editor for macOS. With predefined themes, Author simplified the presentation layer, helping users focus on writing.
We also integrated seamless one-click online publishing, allowing writers to instantly share their work directly from the app, eliminating friction between ideas and audiences.
Outcome ↘ Author struggled to gain significant traction, especially as Medium.com's rise shifted attention toward their centralized platform.
Designed the first Mobile Internet Banking in Central Europe
I co-designed the first mobile banking apps for Slovenská Sporiteľňa (ERSTE Group), which became one of the earliest mobile banking experiences in Europe.
Outcome ↗ While the app has evolved over time, it still retains the core architectural foundations and UX flows from the original version. Today, it operates in 7 European countries and serves over 9 million monthly active users.
